I found code AEZ while decoding the build information for my 2023 Jeep Compass. The description I have is “Electronic Infotainment Sys Group Ii. This code identifies a factory option package or special-edition equipment group” Has anyone verified what this includes on this model and year? I am mainly trying to understand whether it identifies one component or a complete option package.

For a retrofit, check the modules, wiring connectors, software configuration, and compatible part numbers first. Installing the visible component alone may not make the feature operational.

Check the production month as well as the model year. Mid-year changes are one reason two vehicles with the same badge can have different hardware or descriptions.

This sounds more like a documentation mismatch than a decoder error. Different databases often shorten the same factory description in different ways.
